Montenegrin skier Eldar Salihovic did not finish his first run, meaning that he failed to be ranked in slalom at the Winter Olympics. There were 106 competitors in the Olympic slalom, 54 of them are DNFs. The gold medal was won by Swede André Myhrer. The silver went to Ramon Zenhäusern from Switzerland, while Austrian Michael Matt seized the bronze. In addition to Salihovic, who also competed in giant slalom (was placed 64th), Montenegro was represented by Jelena Vujicic (58th in giant slalom) and Marija Bulatovic (88th in cross-country) at the Winter Olympics in PyeongChang.
