The symbolic surrender of the Olympic flag to the next host of the summer EYOF, the city of Baku, and a great party for the participants of the European Youth Olympic Festival, organized in the sports village, marked the end of this year's EYOF, hosted by the Hungarian Gyor. The great organization of the event in all segments has made young athletes, 2,500 of them, and other participants return to their homes very satisfied. At the same time, the host set high organizational standards, which will be difficult to beat. In short, the devoted hosts of EYOF 2017 have made sure that everything worked flawlessly. Montenegrin sports delegation competed with 16 athletes (women's handball team and judoka Ivana Nikolic). Judoka Nikolic won 5th place in the category up to 40 kg, while handball players, in who competed against the strongest 8 European cadet handball teams, took 7th place.
