Young Montenegrin Alpine skiers, Bojana Milosevic and Eldar Salihovic will participate at the XIII Winter European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) from 12 to 18 February, which takes place in Erzurum, Turkey. Our young athletes will compete in slalom and giant slalom, and will represent Montenegro at this prestigious sporting event which is being organized under the patronage of the European Olympic Committee. At this year's EYOF, our first performer will be Bojana Milosevic, in giant slalom, which is scheduled for February 13th. A day later, on February 14th, Eldar Salihovic will compete in the same discipline. Slalom is scheduled for February 15th (women) and February 16th (men). Boys and girls from all European countries, aged 15-18 years, will compete in nine Olympic sports: alpine skiing, biathlon, cross country, snowboarding, ski jumping, curling, ice hockey, speed skating and figure skating on ice. Opening ceremony of the EYOF (February 12th at 7:30 pm local time), will be attended by the Montenegrin Ambassador to Turkey, Mr. Branko Milic, while the Montenegrin flag will be carried by Eldar Salihovic.
