Montenegrin athlete Sladjana Perunovic did not finish the Olympic marathon in Rio de Janeiro. It is due to a foot injury that she gave up after about ten kilometers. For Perunovic this is the second participation at the Olympics, after a performance in London where she finished the race in 77th. She won the norm for her participation in Rio de Janeiro mid-November last year, at the marathon in Valencia.
