Montenegrin handball players suffered a fifth defeat at the Olympic Games in Rio. In the last match of the group stage our team lost to Brazil 29-23. Previously, "lioness" were defeated by Spain, Angola, Romania and Norway. After the match with Brazil, Dragan Adzic announced that he is leaving the helm of the national team. "For this many years no coach in handball was working two jobs – at the club and at the national team. That was exhausting, the body is simply asking for a break. That is a huge waste of energy, the best results were expected constantly, for the club and and for the national team, all with very little space and time for rest. I know how it reflected on my health. I spent myself completely all these years, for every second of the training, for the preparation and the matches", Adzic said.
