Montenegrin judoist Jovana Pekovic has won a silver medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival in Tbilisi, in a category up to 70kg. Jovana passed directly to round 2 and then defeated Viktoria Mironova and Sally Ludford, only to meet the Slovenian judoist Petra Opresnik in the semi-finals and win her place in the final with an ippon. In the finals she lost against the Italian Alice Bellandi. Our second contestant, Mirjana Milic, was eliminated in the first round of -63kg category, against Mina-Agneta Riken from Greece.
