Our boxer Bosko Draskovic has advanced to the second round of the competition. His match against an Estonian Ainar Karlson was interrupted at the 33 second mark of the second round. The reason for the interruption was an eye injury to Draskovic, due to an accidental head bump. The judges' opinion was that Draskovic had the edge against Karlson before the interruption, so they declared him a winner. I was better than the infamous Estonian, and I do believe that I would have won the match if we fought to the end. The doctors did a small surgical repair, "stuck" the laceration and I'm hoping to get a permit to return to the ring – said Draskovic. If the team of medics allows him the return to the ring, Draskovic will be fighting against the German Igor Teziev in the second round of competition, on June 19th.
