Gold medal for Kristina Rakocevic Montenegrin athlete Kristina Rakocevic has won the gold medal in the discus throw at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Utrecht. Rakocevic gained the first place with a shot of 46.49 meters, which was better then Romanian Francesca Karle Harvesting (45.36) and third-placed Russian Anastasia Vitugovoj (45,41). Rakocevic's gold medal is also the very first Montenegrin medal at the European Youth Olympic Festival, where Montenegro has so far participated three times (Belgrade 2007, Tampere 2009 and Trabzon 2011). Kristina will also compete in the shot put, and the finale is scheduled for July 18th. Another Montenegrin athlete that will perform in Utrecht is judoka Arso Milic (on July 18th), while the tennis player Tamara Bojanic has been eliminated.
