Top Montenegrin bocce player Miroslav Petković has won a silver medal at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin, in Precision Throw discipline. He was only one point shy of the best result, placed by a French competitor. This is a fourth medal for Montenegro at these Games, and a first silver. Petkovic has won a gold medal at the previous Games, in Pescara 2009. Woman's national handball team was defeated for the second time at the Mediterranean Games, in a match against Algeria. The next opponent for our team, in the semi-finals, will be Slovenia. The game is scheduled on 28.06. In athletics, Sladjana Perunovic has backed out of her race to 10,000 m because of an injury.
