Montenegrin boxer Nikola Milacic has won a bronze medal at the Mediterranean Games in Mersin, in category up to 91 kg. Previously has been defeated by Croat Josip Bepa Filipia, in the semi-final match of the boxing tournament, . This is a third medal for Montenegro in total, at these Games (two have been won by judokas Srdjan Mrvaljevic – gold, and Nikola Gusic – bronze). Mirjana Martinovic (wrestling) has backed out of her fight after an injury(muscle rupture) which she received during a first fight in a category up to 63 kg. After the injury, our competitor was transferred to the hospital urgently, where she was released after examination, and returned to Mediterranean Village in the company of dr. Dabovic. Montenegrin representative will probably need to take a longer break due to this injury. Women's national handball team has been defeated by Serbia 21:18, in the third match of competition. Their next match will be against Italy, tomorrow (25.6).
