Representatives of the Taekwondo Federation of Montenegro, led by President Milivoje Radovic, were the guests of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee today, where they met with President Dusan Simonovic. The reason for this meeting were, primarily, ambitious plans of the Taekwondo Association which they intend to fully accomplish in the following period. They also expect a number of international competitions during the 2013, which will be attended by our athletes as well. As they said in Taekwondo Federation, one of the priorities will be to promote the popularization of this Olympic sport in Montenegro. The possibilities of various forms of cooperation between Taekwondo Federation and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee were discussed, and potential support for the professional staff development program has been agreed. These would be realized through the Olympic Solidarity Fund .. The both parties share the opinion that the situation in the union has improved significantly and that it is on an upward trajectory. President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dusan Simonovic said that Taekwondo Association can count on the support of MOC and Olympic Solidarity Fund and expressed satisfaction with the successful cooperation between MOC and Taekwondo Association with the belief that such cooperation will continue in the future.
