Our best handball players have failed to make another step, and were defeated in the finals of the Olympic Games against Norway 26:23, but their silver has a golden glow. They have brought a first Olympic medal to Montenegro, their success will be remembered for all time, their heroic struggle and dedication should serve as a guide to all Montenegrin athletes. Montenegro failed in the finals, but our handball players were in the game for gold until the end, against the current European, World and now double cosecutive Olympic champions. The final match at the Olympics put an end to two dreaming handball and sport carreers – if only there was luck and justice, Bojana Popović and Maja Savić would've said their goodbyes with a gold. The two have met, however, their handball mission, ant their team-mates, right after the match, have put on their training shirts and lined up in three rows to make the inscription "Maja, Bojana thank you". There is, however, no words to express our gratitude to them, and all the girls and the coaching staff led by Dragan Adžić, for all they have achieved in London. Their silver is shining with golden glow, they are our golden lionesses.
