At the ceremony held in Hotel”City” in Podgorica, today were presented awards to the best in literary and artistic competitions. To meet the forthcoming Olympic Games in London, Montenegrin Olympic Committee, in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Sport organised competition in the literary works on topic: The important thing in life is not victory but combat, Olympic spirit is not ownership of one race nor one year (Coubertin), Faster, higher, stronger (Olympic motto) and in artwork on topic The Olympic Games – faster, higher, stronger. In the competition of literary works was declared the best 12 papers in four categories, two in elementary and high schools as well as 18 best art works in six categories – four categories in elementary and two categories in high school. Addressing the winners, president of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dusan Simonovic said that " in competition in the artistic and literary works on the subject of Olympism Montenegro got people who will in a special way keep track of the Olympic Movement, the largest global idea that through sports promotes values compatible with values for which our state and our citizens intensively advocate. These are the messages of peace, friendship, coexistence, fair play, the fight against doping and environmental protection. These are the values that this global idea is promoting all these years, since the launch of the modern Olympic Games. " The President emphasized that he was happy for the successful completion of the competition and the quality of work and expressed his belief that among the winners will be future Olympians. Expressing gratitude for the excellent cooperation and contribution in the realization of this project, the President Simonovic delivered letters of acknowledgement to Assistant Minister of Education and Sports Vesna Vučurović and Public Service. In his speech, President MOC has announced that as of 3/6/2012. and practically until the Games in London, on TVCG will be broadcasted TV quiz, in which will be competing elementary schools. "There will be interesting topics because we wanted to display the Olympic Movement and the Games in an unusual way," said Simonovic. Assistant Minister of Education and Sports, Vesna Vučurović said that it was the pleasure that the written word and artistic expression support the values of Olympism. "Let’s support our athletes and wish them to highly flutter Montenegrin flag at the Olympics and wish them every success," said Vučurović. In the competition of literary works winners were: Ruder Mardjonovic from ES Narodni heroj Savo Ilic, Dobrota, Kotor (6th and 7th grades), Vukica Rašović, ES Oktoih, Podgorica (8th and 9th grades), Katarina Knezevic, Slobodan Škerović High School, Podgorica (1st and 2nd grades), Vukica Lalović, PI Mixed High School 17th September, Zabljak (3rd and 4th grades). In the competition of literary works winners were: Lena Šćekić, ES Aleksa Djilas Bećo Bijelo Polje (1st and 2nd grades), Adis Pepeljak, ES Oktoih Podgorica (3rd and 4th grades), Aleksandra Leković, ES Oktoih Podgorica (5th and 6th. grades), Emra Nuhodžić, ES Dusan Korac Bijelo Polje (7th, 8th and 9th grades), Masa Celebic Slobodan Škerović High School Podgorica (1st and 2nd grades), Matija Katnić, JU SLS "Peter Lubarda" Cetinje (3rd and 4th grades).
