Representatives from Water polo and Swimming Federation of Montenegro, selector of the national team Ranko Perović and secretary general Dejan Adžić, visited Montenegrin Olympic Committee today. President of MOC, Dušan Simonović congratulated, once again for excellent participation of water polo national team at the European Championship and for winning the silver medal. Selector Perović spoke about his impressions from the championship, including ambitions and plans that need to be realised in the future, stressing that national team is highly motivated to participate at the Olympic Games in London and achieve good results. High priority is qualifying tournament for participation at the Olympic Games in London 2012, that will be held in Edmond, Canada at the beginning of April. According to secretary general Adžić, so far, this Federation did not manage to provide financial means. President Simonović said that MOC has already started some initiatives in that relation and that MOC will also provide financial support from its own budget for participation at this event. Representatives from WPSFM discussed with President Simonović overall further activities until the Games in London. They agreed areas of cooperation, possibility of MOC’s assistance to Water polo Federation in achievement of planned activities, as well as expectations regarding participation of the national team at the forthcoming events.
