Montenegrin athletes at EYOF in Trabzon

Turkish city Trabzon will be host of XI European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF), from 23 to 30 July where will also compete Montenegrin national team.

In Trabzon, Montenegro will be represented by basketball players born 1995/1996, judoka Balša Sinanović, tennis player Pavle Rogan, swimmer Alen Dervišević and athlete Milica Vukadinović.

Dervišević will swim 50m freestyle and 100m backstroke, and Vukadinović will compete in discus and shot put.

Basketball team in Trabzon will compete in following composition: Milan Pešić, Gligorije Rakočević, Dejan Perović, Miloš Anđelić, Nenad Piletić, Luka Nikaljević, Gojko Ercegović, Damir Alihodžić, Zoran Nikolić, Aleksandar Novosel, Stefan Kasalica and Mihailo Radunović.

They will be lead by selector Zoran Stanković and Coach Boris Nikolić.

Other coaches will be there, Nikola Ristić (athletics), Vaso Đokić (judo) and Balša Milošević (tennis), physical therapist Željko Vujičić and basketball referee Milan Kaluđerović.

Chief of the delegation is sport director of Montenegrin Olympic Committee Predrag Marsenić.

EYOF is competition that gathers young athletes from all European countries every second year and is organized under the patronage of the European Olympic Committees.

At EYOF in Trabzon will compete young athletes born 1995 and 1996.

It was announced that in Trabzon will participate around 4.000 athletes from 49 European countries.
