Assembly of Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC) will be held on 7. July in Podgorica, it was decided today at the Executive Board (EB) session in Ulcinj. It will be regular assembly and festive as well, because it will be held on same day when in 2007. MOC became full time member of the International Olympic Committee in Guatemala. EB adopted the Report on participation of Montenegrin athletes at the Games of the Small States of Europe in Lichtenstein and this participation was rated as very successful. Also was revised the Report on preparations for participation at the European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) in Trabzon, from 23. to 30. July and was concluded that successful participation is expected. EYOF is festival in which can compete athletes aged 15 to 18. EB decided that planned changes and amendments of the current MOC Statutes should wait until new Law on Sport is adopted, which is currently at the Assembly procedure. Principles were determined for changes of the most important act of our Association. At the session word was about current situation of Montenegrin sport, position and financing of Montenegrin athletes, including possibilities for finding out solutions for more quality and safer financing. It was agreed that proposals of EB should be presented to the Government and line Ministries. Members of EB at the session were addressed by the Mayor of Ulcinj, Mr. Gzim Hajdinaga who also wished welcome and successful work.
