From 12th to 15th May 2011. In Trabzon was held seminar for Chefs de Mission of the forthcoming European Youth Olympic Festival (EYOF) to be held in this city from 23rd to 30th July. At this multi-sport event will participate young athletes aged 15 to 17. Competitons will be held in 9 sports, and over 3.000 participants are expected. At the seminar were present around 100 delegates from European National Olympic Committees, representatives of EOC and Organizational Committee of EYOF Trabzon 2011, and on behalf of Montenegrin Olympic Committee, at the seminar was present Sports Director of MOC, Predrag Marsenić. To the participants of this meeting was enabled to find out more about venues, services and procedures in order to easily prepare for this event. At EYOF in Turkey, Montenegrin athletes will compete in athletics, tennis, swimming, judo and basketball (boys born 1995/96). For team sports, groups have been already determined, and basketball national team of Montenegro will be in group with Serbia, Turkey and Latvia. Plenary session was also held, and there were considered in detail technical aspects of organization and procedures, strating from accreditations, accommodation, transport, logistics, to sport and educational programs.
