Today in Podgorica was held session of the Executive Committee of MOC where was adopted Final Financial report of MOC for 2010 and Financial Plan for 2011. Also was adopted Report on Participation of Montenegro at the Winter European Youth Olympic Festival, held from 12th to 19th February this year in Liberec (Czech Republic). On 10th EYOF participated around 1500 athletes from 50 European countries. Montenegro was represented by four competitors in alpine skiing who participated in slalom and grand slalom. Report on preparations for the first participation of Montenegrin athletes at the Games of Small States of Europe in Lichtenstein was revised and adopted, as well as Report on preparations for the Summer European Youth Olympic Festival in Turkey. Preparations for participation of Montenegrin athletes at the Games of Small Staes of Europe in Lichtenstein (30th May- 04th June 2011) are in the final phase. Besides male senior volleyball team, our athletes will compete in athletics, tennis and table tennis. Ongoing are preparations for participation of our young athletes in XI Summer EYOF to be held from 23rd to 30th July 20100 in Trabzon (Turkey) and for now it is sure that male cadet basketball team (1995./96) will compete. As for individual sports, at the list are competitors in athletics, tennis, swimming and judo who fulfill criteria for participation in EYOF. The Executive Committee of MOC today has adopted criteria for „EYOF Team“ of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, and by this is foreseen participation of only those athletes who can achieve quality placement on EYOF based on their best reults. On todays session, the Executive Committee of MOC elected Igor Vušurović for Chef de Mission of the Olympic Games in London 2012. The Executive Committee, also, brought the decision on financial support for Olympic candidates, based on special preparations programe sent by Associations.
