Today, delegation of the Judo Association of Montenegro, judoka Srdjan Mrvaljević, selector Rajko Mrvaljević and coach Miomir Mrvaljević, paid a working visit to the Montenegrin Olympic Committee. Winning the World Cup, defeating six rivals from traditionally successful judo countries, Srdjan Mrvaljević achieved greatest personal result and very important one for Montenegrin sport, as well, because top results in individual sports in our country are still very rare, even though, lately Montenegro has some. I hope that in the future there will be more, because I think that as a small country we really have biggest chance. – said Dušan Simonović. At the meeting, word was about future activities our judoka will face on the way to achieving the Olympic norm. Based on previously received preparations and competitions plan that was mutually agreed, into consideration were took possibilities for supporting Srdjan both by the Association and MOC. Mutual aim of Srdjan Mrvaljević and MOC is participation at the Games 2012 in London, and in that sense, conclusion of the meeting was that supporting our competitor will remain one of the priorities of MOC.
