at the beginning 18.08.2010 At the beginning of football tournament, pioneer football selection of Montenegro defeated Zimbabwe 2:1 in the first match of group C at the Youth Olympic Games, and placed in the semi finals. Our pioneers were superior during the whole match, and beside two goals they had several chances. – Our greatest opponents were sultriness and fear at the beginning of the match. In the meanwhile, things got back to their own place and we deserved this victory. I am satisfied with the result and believe that in next match we will be better – said selector of “the reds” Sava Kovačević. Next match at the first Youth Olympic Games in Singapore, “the reds” will play on 19th August against the host. Winner of this match will go to semi finals, since national team of Singapore defeated Zimbabwe at the beginning by 3:1. – We are facing the first place match in the group against Singapore. We have seen our opponent playing against Zimbabwe; it is serious team even though they don’t seem to be attractive to play against enough. We will try to win this match, and we would like to bypass Bolivia which is first in the second group, and which have made greatest impression so far – said Kovačević. Montenegrin national team members in this match were: Nikolić, Vico (Baošić), Marković, Šarkić, Jovanović, Nedović, Krivokapić, Kosović, Grbović (Lalošević), Boljević (Čađenović). Scorers for our team were Grbović in 28. and Boljević in 40. minute.
