Support for Danka

In cooperation with Tennis Association of Montenegro, President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović, organized reception for Montenegrin tennis hope Danka Kovinić and her parents. At the reception was also present president of Tennis Association of Montenegro, dr Dimitrije Rašović. President of MOC, Dušan Simonović praised Danka Kovinić and promised that MOC in cooperation with Tennis Association of Montenegro will do everything in their power to provide Danka all necessary conditions for future improvement.

President of Tennis Association of Montenegro, dr Dimitrije Rašović and Danka Kovinić signed a contract according to which our tennis player commits to represent Montenegro at the Federation Cup in future, while Tennis Association commits to support young player in accordance with their possibilities.

Dušan Simonović said that success of young player at Roland Garros and Wimbledon represents inspiration for everyone working in Montenegrin sport.
– For the first time Montenegro faces such success in this sport, since we didn’t have similar results so far.

It is new page for all of us and we must react. Kovinić family expressed gratitude to the President of MOC, Dušan Simonović, Tennis Association of Montenegro and its president dr Dimitrije Rašović.

– I accepted this offer to represent my country Montenegro with great pleasure, even though I had several offers from surrounding countries, therefore I will do my best to represent Montenegro with dignity – said Danka Kovinić.
