Anent recently signed Declaration on cooperation between Kotor, Mostar and Dubrovnik in joint application for XIX Mediterranean Games, mayor of Kotor Marija Ćatović yesterday met the President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee Dušan Simonović. At the meeting were also present Vice presidents of municipality Željko Avramović and Andrija Popović, Vice president of MOC. Dušan Simonović expressed full and unlimited support of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee to Declaration on cooperation in joint application for XIX Mediterranean Games 2021. Declaration was supported by MOC and the state so it was concluded that Kotor, Montenegro and the Montenegrin Olympic Committee jointly will be involved in application process for Mediterranean Games. In that direction Montenegrin Olympic Committee already started conversation with Olympic Committees from South-East Europe and got support from most of them – said Simonović. Stressing the importance of this sport event, mayor Ćatović said that joint application of Kotor, Mostar and Dubrovnik for Mediterranean Games will contribute regional connection of three states. Cooperation in preparation of this application will affirm regional cooperation in right way, said Marija Ćatović.
