In Podgorica today was held regular Assembly of Montenegrin Olympic Committee

The Assembly has unanimously adopted activity plan of MOC between two Assemblies, final account for the last year and financial plan for this year.

It was stated that financial means from the Budget dedicated to sport are less than ever, amounting 660 thousand Euros, which is 280 less than last year and double since two years ago.

For new members, Assembly has unanimously accepted new members of the Executive Board Igor Lukšić, Boro Lazović and Branko Jovanović. Also was created Initiative Board of the Club of Montenegrin Olympians, whose president is Andrija Popović,while other members are Zorica Pavićević, Mirko Vičević and Igor Vušurović. Members of that club will be athletes who participated at the Olympic Games, selectors and head coaches who lead Montenegrin Olympians.

It was stated that there are 33 athletes who won Olympic medals while playing for former state unions. Assembly has authorised the Executive Board to name MOC Commissions,and at today’s session were proposed presidents. Kayak Association was unanimpously accepted into membership in MOC. Assembly of MOC congratulated waterpolo clubs Kataro and Primorac and women handball club Buducnost.

At the Assembly were present 40 out of 59 delegates.
