The Executive Board (EB) of Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC) adopted today report on participation at the winter Olympic Games and concluded that single Montenegrin representative in Vancouver, Bojan Kosić have achieved good results. Sport delegation at the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver 2010 composed of three members, and apart from Kosić there were also his coach Rajko Kosić and Chef de Mission Boris Sekulić. “When we take into consideration that Kosić is 19 years old and also one of youngest competitors in alpine disciplines, and that this is our first appearance at WOG, EB of MOC concluded that we can be satisfies with the results especially since it is realistic to expect that in next Kosić will improve”, it was stated in the press release sent to MINA Agency. Also was concluded that Kosić had necessary training and competing conditions during the Games that enabled him to completely dedicate to competition. It was said that President of MOC Dušan Simonović and the President of Skiing Association of Montenegro Vesna Medenica during their stay in Vancouver had several meetings with leaders of National Olympic Committees from South-east Europe and officials from Skiing Associations from surrounding countries. At today’s session, EB adopted Report on preparation for participation of Montenegrin athletes, pioneer football national team (boys born in 1995.) at Youth Olympic Games in Singapore 2010. At the Games in Singapore Montenegro will have four more competitors in individual sports based on wild card. Preparations have started for participation of Montenegrin athletes at the Games of Small Countries of Europe in Lichtenstein 2011. From 1.-3. March member of EB of MOC Igor Vušurović will participate at seminar to be held in Lichtenstein on the occasion of the Games. At the session was also adopted Final account of MOC for last year and Financial plan for this year. EB proposed to the MOC Assembly that at the next session Montenegrin kayak Association and Montenegrin weigh lifting Association should be accepted into membership. Next session of MOC Assembly will be held on 24. April.
