BOWLER MIROSLAV PETKOVIĆ, WON FIRST GOLD MEDAL FOR MONTENEGRO ON MEDITERRANEAN GAMES IN PESCARA Gold on chest MiroslavPetković, member of Montenegrin bowling national team, won first gold medal for our national team on Mediterranean Games in Pescara. This guy from Tivat, member of bowling club Val from Herceg Novi, delighted everybody with his participation, both in semi final where he was ahead of all other competitors, and in final s as well, where he won in the discipline precise throw out. In all three circles he was the best with scores 28, 19,19 and at the end, deserved the first place on this competition that attracted large number of big countries to compete in this sport. – I achieved my goal, I wanted a medal, I wished for gold and I won gold. I am happy for this, and for the way in which this medal was won. I had best results in the finals, and after that in three series I was more successful as well. I hope that by the end we will win more medals, and I will know how to celebrate my success – said the champion Petković. Winner fo the second place was Khaled Zaubeidi from Algeria , and third place winner was French Patric Alkaraz. President of Montenegrin Olympic Committee Dušan Simonović, congratulated Petković for his great success, winning of gold medal, first on Mediterranean Games, and secon one overall, since few days ago Radosavljević won bronze medal.
