FIRST MEDAL FOR MONTENEGRO ON MEDITERRANEAN GMAES Bronze for wrestler Vladimir Radosavljević Yesterday in Pescara, wrestler VladimirRadosavljević, won first medal for Montenegro. This 26 year old member of Partizan from Belgrade, in greek-roman style discipline (96 kg), in the match for third place was better than Bojan Mijatov from Serbia, winner of medals on European and World championships. Mijatov was favorite, but our representative was so dominant during the match and he didn’t even lost a point. – I dedicate this medal to Montenegrin people and to our selector Mališa Radović, who couldn’t be with us here with us today. I wish to thank Montenegrin Olympic Committee who supported us and signed three of us for the Mediterranean Games in Pescara – said the winner of bronze medal, first one for Monteengro. – I am very happy and proud at the same time. I am even happier for winning this medal in match against great wrestler Mijatov – said Radosavljević. – I wasn’t fortunate enough in the first match against Greek wrestler, due to my inattention I lost that match and the possibility to compete for gold medal. Despite all that, it is big success for me. Of course, I must mention that I had big support from the coach Miodrag Đurković and my fellow team mates from the National team. I hope and I believe that we will win more medals in Pescara. President of MOC Dušan Simonović and Chef de Mission Miodrag Ivanović congratulated the first medal winner on 16th Mediterranean Games in Pescara. This is first medal in wrestling for Monteengrin sport. Miodrag Đurković and Vladimir Radosavljević
