T-com golden sposnor of the Montenegrin Olympic Committeee

"This is realisation of our great wish – to start sponsor relationship with some big company. I am greatful to the Montenegrin T-Com for recognising success of Montenegrin sport and Montenegirn athletes by placing to the Olympic Games in Beijing next year", said the President of the MOC Dušan Simonović yesterday, addressing representatives of this company and present journalists in Hotel "Podgorica".

"This donation will help our athletes to prepare in best possible way for the forthcomming appearance at the Olympic Games", added Simonović, with wish for this cooperation to become longterm one.

Both Daniel Sas, President of the Board of Directors of MontenegrinT-Com expressed great satisfaction for signing this contract.

"We are proud and happy because we became golden sponsors of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, for more reasons. One of those reasons is that in this way we will be along with Montenegrin athletes at the Olympic Games in Beijing. I wish to stress the importance of this support for the Olympic Gmes, where Montenegro will participate for the first time as independent state and in that way we can contribute its sport successes," said Sas reminding that Montenegrin T-Com invests more than one million euros per year for various sport sponsorships in Montenegro.

"What makes us proud is the fact that we are the only company in the area of telecommunications who is sponsor of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee. I hope that this golden sponsorship will turn into some golden Olympic medal for Montenegrin athletes", said Sas.

This contract specifies that Montenegrin T-Com will invest 80.000 euros for period until the end of the Olympic Gmes in Beijing.

Addressing the Press, President Simonović said that the MOC is determined not to expand number of sponsors too much.

"Out three main sources of financial support shall remain sponsors, the International Olympic Committee and Montenegrin budget. I hope that this will completely fulfill preparations, participation and stay of Montenegrin athletes at the Olympic Games in Beijing", said Simonović.

On the signing ceremony of the Contract on golden sponsorship we also present Đorđije Kustudić, Secretary General of the MOC and Miodrag Strugar, Director for coprporative communication in Montenegrin T-Com.
