The President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committe, Dušan Simonović congratulated Montenegrin water-polo players and their coach Petar Porobić on great success, placement to the Olympc Games in Beijing. "I congratulate water-polo players, coach Petar Porobić and members of the staff, as well as Montenegrin Water-polo Federation on qualifying for the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008. Water-polo national team is the first Montenegrin national team which succeeded to qualify for the Olympic Games. This is the reason why tournament held in Bratislava and your six great triumphs on six matches do not only represent verification of visa for China, but also take special place in the history of Montenegrin sport. Two months ago the Montenegrin Olympic Committe was recognised by the International Olympic Committee. Being the president of the MOC, it’s a great honour for me that already now, 334 days before the beginning of the first Olympic Games on which Montenegrin athletes will participate under Montenegrin flag, we have national team which is on world's top. Your example of fighting for the colors of your own country makes our dream about our flag on the Olympic Games not only a wish for participation in it. Next Games in Beijing will be held under motto 'One world, one dream'. It is not necesary to remind that you, our water-polo players, lead by Petrar Porobić have realised great Montenegrin dream," it was said in congratulation from the President of the MOC.
