President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee Dusan Simonovic congratulated Thomas Bach who has been re-elected to serve a second term as the President of the International Olympic Committee (IOC). " Dear President Bach, On behalf of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and on my own behalf, I congratulate you on your re-election as the President of the International Olympic Committee, wishing for us to continue good cooperation in the future and respond readily to all the challenges, as we always have. I am happy that you will continue to lead our Olympic and sports organization in the coming period, and I am grateful for the friendship and support you have given to the Montenegrin Olympic Committee. The times have been very challenging, both for our Olympic family and for the whole world, and with you at the helm, the International Olympic Committee has managed to be an example of how every organization should function, especially in the times of crisis – to promotes equality, solidarity, empathy and all the values that are the fundamental principles of our organization and that adorn humanity. " Mr. Bach was the only candidate for the President of the IOC. He received 93 out of 94 votes and will remain the head of this organization until 2025. His first term started in 2013 when he succeeded Jacques Rogge.
