As part of strengthening bilateral relations, cooperation on joint projects and ideas for the development of the Olympic movement, representatives of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and the Albanian Olympic Committee held a meeting in Shkodra on June 3rd. The meeting was attended by the MOC's President Dusan Simonovic and Secretary General Igor Vusurovic, who exchanged experiences in the field of sports with Albanian colleagues, the Albanian National Olympic Commitee's President Fidel Ylli and Secretary General Stavri Bello in terms of organizing joint sports camps, educational programs for athletes and sports administration, as well as other joint regional projects. Other topics of the meeting were concerning the preparations for the Olympic Games in Tokyo, the effects of the global pandemic, as well as the challenges of the development of sports in both countries. It was agreed at this event that the NOCs will sign a Memorandum of Cooperation at the next meeting.
