Scholarship agreements were signed today in the premises of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee by Montenegrin Olympian, sailor Milivoj Dukić and the best young Montenegrin athletes in 2021, boxers Petar Liješević and Bojana Gojković, together with the President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC), Dušan Simonović, and the presidents of Sailing and Boxing Federation of Montenegro, Predrag Vukčević and Alexander Klemenko. "I am extremely pleased that Milivoj, Petar and Bojana are in the group of scholarship holders of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, for the period until the end of the Games in Paris. All three of them have been achieving notable results at the major international competitions for some time now, and I really believe that they will be part of the Montenegrin Olympic team at the 2024 Olympic Games”, said President of the MOC, after signing. Scholars thanked the Montenegrin Olympic Committee and President Simonovic for the support. Milivoj Dukić pointed out that the support of the MOC means a lot to him, and that he is thankful for the cooperation he has had with the umbrella sports organization in Montenegro for many years. "I am proud of the joint successes we have had in the past years and I believe even more strongly in the new victories in the upcoming cycle for the 2024 Olympics". Until the end of the Olympic Games in Paris, the Montenegrin Olympic Committee will, thanks to Olympic Solidarity, provide scholarships to 8 Montenegrin athletes in individual sports. In this cycle, scholarships will be awarded to: Marija Vuković, Danijel Furtula, Tomaš Đurović, Danka Kovinić, Milivoj Dukić, Jovana Peković, Petar Liješević and Bojana Gojković.
