According to Articles 46, 52 and 87 of the Articles of Association of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (consolidated text, no. 02-59/2-1 of October 7, 2019) and according to the recommendation of the IOC 2000 Reform Commission that “athletes should be well represented at all levels of the sports movement: IOC, IFs, NOCs and NFs” and the Basic Universal Principles of Good Governance of the Olympic and Sports Movement, with regard to rules 2.7 and 28.1.3 of the Olympic Charter, the Executive Board of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, at an electronic session held on February 24, 2022, adopted the Decision on the establishment of the MOC Athletes' Commission. The members of the Athletes' Commission are as follows: * Drasko Brguljan (water polo) * Milivoj Dukic (sailing) * Filip Radovic (para table tennis) * Marija Vukovic (athletics) * Danka Kovinic (tennis) * Majda Mehmedovic (handball) * Bojan Kosic (skiing) The Commission's task is to represent the views of the athletes, in particular: * review issues concerning athletes and give recommendations and advice to the MOC on these issues; * actively participate in initiatives and projects that protect and support clean athletes, both on and off sports fields; * protect the rights and interests of athletes and make certain recommendations in this regard; * maintain contacts with the IOC and EOC Athletes’ Commissions. Drasko Brguljan was elected President of the Commission at the first online meeting, held on March 15. The term of office of each member of the Commission shall be four years.
