The annual meeting of the EOC Gender Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Commission was held in Paris from October 9th to October 11th. The President of the Commission, Annamarie Phelps, acquainted the members with the documents that need to be promoted and adopted in the coming period, as well as with the status of the EOC's Strategic Agenda 2030, i.e., the position of gender equality issues within the Agenda. Following the introduction, the representatives of the Paris 2024 Organising Committee, as well as the representatives of the IOC and the CNOSF Gender Equality Commission, presented their plans to ensure gender equality at the Olympic Games to be held in two years. During the meeting, the participants agreed upon both short and long-term objectives and what are the first steps to achieve those objectives.
