The President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dusan Simonovic, participated in the 13th Session of the International Forum "Peace and Sport" in Monaco. The Peace and Sport International Forum has become a major event on the international stage. Over the years, it has brought together the highest representatives from governments, the international sports movement, international organizations, civil-society, and the private sector who are involved in peace-through-sport actions, or willing to carry them out. This year for the 13th edition of the event, under the theme "Sport is an answer for peace”, in a context marked by the resurgence of international conflicts, the importance of continuing the dynamic initiated over the last two decades and to generalize the use of sport as a vector for peace at all levels of society has been emphasized. Since the creation of Peace and Sport in 2007, the recognition of the role of sport in maximizing peace has been recognized. The last few years have been rich in examples and initiatives that have helped to provide solutions. However, as the resurgence of international conflicts characterizes the 2022 global context, it is necessary to recall the contribution of Sport to conflict prevention, resolution processes and post-conflict reconciliation. Among the participants were Prince Albert of Monaco and Liberian President George Weah.
