The foundation for further development of sports in the region was laid in Pristina. The Olympic Committees of France, Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo and Montenegro signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. Committees will cooperate in preparations for the major sporting events such as the Olympic Games, by organizing joint camps and through cooperation between athletes, coaches and sports referees. They will work together to obtain funds through different programs, such as Erasmus+. In this way, conditions will be created for the sport administration education and capacity building. "Balkan cooperation 5" will last until 2028. On behalf of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, the Memorandum was signed by the Secretary General, Mr. Igor Vušurović.
