The President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, Dušan Simonović, with associates, attended a working dinner organized on the occasion of the visit of the President of the Normandy Region, Herve Morin and members of his team to Montenegro, by the Minister of Economic Development and Tourism, Goran Đurović. The dinner was also attended by Ivan Ivanišević, our ambassador to France, Christian Timonier, French ambassador to Podgorica, Prince Nikola Petrović Njegoš, Dr. Nina Drakić, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Dejan Vuković from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Jovana Krunić from the Ministry of Economic Development and Tourism, Goran Strahinja from the Investment Agency, as well as Pavle Ljesar from TO Montenegro and Darko Pekić from Port of Bar AD. The topics of conversation during the dinner were the potentials for cooperation between Normandy and Montenegro in the fields of economy, tourism, sports, and education. President Simonović especially emphasized the importance of support that Normandy can provide to our athletes in the preparation period for the Olympic Games. "For us, it is of paramount importance to accept and support our athletes and to provide the best possible conditions for preparing our athletes for the Games in Paris".
