The Montenegrin team will travel to Malta on Sunday, May 28, to the XIX Games of the Small States of Europe (GSSE) to be held from Monday (29.05) to June 3th. This is an extraordinary opportunity for our female and male athletes to showcase their talents and represent Montenegro at the international level . Our team will be led by Katarina Bulatović, Sports Director of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, who will serve as the Chief of Mission of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee. Our representatives will compete in the following sports: Athletics: Danijel Furtula (discus throw), Darko Pešić (110 meters hurdles, long jump, pole vault, and discus throw), Tomaš Đurović and Risto Drobnjak (shot put), and Amir Papazi (javelin throw), coach Osman Erović; Sailing, ILCA7 class: Milivoj Dukić and Ilija Marković, coach Ilko Klakor; Table Tennis: Filip Radović, Irfan Čekić, Filip Radulović, Ivana Petrić, Simona Perović, coaches: Dijana Zonjić and Saša Dragaš; Judo: Emil Sinanović, Nikola Gardašević, Danilo Pantić, Milana Stevanović, Tamara Gardašević and Ivana Šunjević, coach Ilija Vukotić; Swimming: Jovana Kuljača, coach Danijela Franeta; Shooting: Miloš Božović, Ksenija Jukić, Nevena Šaranović and Anđela Miličković, coach Stanko Laban; Basketball (men), coach Goran Bošković; Basketball (women), coach Jelena Škerović; Rugby 7 (women), coach Danijel Keserović. The Games of the Small States of Europe bring together female and male athletes from nine European countries with less than one million inhabitants and provide them with the opportunity to compete in various disciplines. At the Games in Malta, representatives will fight for medals in 11 sports: athletics, basketball, 3x3 basketball, judo, rugby, sailing, shooting, squash, swimming, table tennis, and tennis. This event aims to promote the spirit of sports, mutual understanding, and friendship among the participants.
