The celebration of Olympic Day will take place on June 19, 2023, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the open courts of the Sports Center "Morača" in Podgorica. This event, which has been held for many years with the support of Olympic Solidarity and the Secretariat for Culture and Sports of the Capital City of Podgorica, will include mini competitions in various sports such as athletics, handball, football, volleyball, and teqball. Montenegrin Olympians will also be present at the event. Speeches will be given by Dušan Simonović, President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee, and Vasilije Lalosević, Minister of Sports and Youth in the Government of Montenegro. Olympic Day is a significant event that celebrates Olympic values and promotes a healthy lifestyle through sports. This year, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has chosen the theme "Move, Participate, Discover" as the central message of Olympic Day. This theme reminds us of the importance of active participation in sports and the discovery of new talents. Join us on June 19th to celebrate this special day together and wish success to our athletes at the upcoming European Games in Krakow.
