Yesterday in Istanbul, a meeting of the members of the association of the Games of Small States of Europe was held. Members of all nine National Olympic Committees (NOC) of the GSSE attended, including Montenegro. The meeting was chaired by the president of the GSSE, Mr. Jaume Marti Mandico, the President of the Andorra Olympic Committee. In his introductory remarks, he emphasized the importance of solidarity among small European countries, as well as key initiatives such as commitment to anti-doping in cooperation with the International Testing Agency and partnership with ATOS for the GMS & Timing system. During the meeting, based on the proposal of the GSSE General Secretary, Matias Raymond, discussions were held about changes to the GSSE statutes, modifications of technical regulations, relations with the EOC, and the findings of a questionnaire about the GSSE sports program were presented. The findings highlighted the importance of innovation in the sports program while preserving traditional values. At the end of the meeting, the NOC of Andorra shared information about the preparations for the upcoming Games of Small States of Europe in 2025, and the NOC of Monaco presented the proposed sports program for the GSSE in 2027.
