The President of the Montenegrin Olympic Committee (MOC), Mr. Dušan Simonović, received Prince Nikola Petrović Njegoš at the MOC headquarters. After discussing the participation of Montenegrin athletes in the Olympic Games and preparations for the event, the prince presented projects of the Petrović Njegoš Foundation in ecology. President Simonović showed great interest in the Foundation's project, Ekomed, and in the new ecological technologies being developed in partnership with French startups in energy and waste treatment, especially the proposal to promote these green innovations during the Olympic and Paralympic Games. The demonstration includes ships equipped with engines adapted for compressed air (zero emissions and no batteries) with a solar charging station, which will be showcased during the water sports competitions at the Olympic Games in Paris. After the Olympic Games, these ships would also be presented in Montenegro, in the Bay of Kotor, and then integrated into the Ekomed projects proposed to the municipalities of Tivat and Kotor. This "French/Montenegrin" project was presented to President Macron and aims to promote ecological solutions for transportation and energy storage problems, thereby promoting ecological Montenegro and France's commitment to environmental transition. President Simonović has given his full support to the project and expressed a desire to assist the Foundation in financing and preparing the project.
